Glenn Dollar has thirty-four years of experience in Information Systems. He has a proven track record in using IT to increase productivity, reduce costs and improve processes while
at NASA/Caltech's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Amgen, Digital Computer Corporation/Compaq and consulting with numerous small businesses.
Glenn’s expertise includes analyzing business systems and customer needs, designing and implementing processes and systems, developing and improving customer and vendor relations, and managing operations and technical support. His IT expertise includes enabling the mobile workforce, standardizing systems and providing global remote access.
While at Amgen, Glenn developed and implemented a home-office connectivity capability for the Field Sales force improving performance over ten-fold while reducing costs by over 50%. As Manager of Technical Development, Glenn lead a team of Senior Consultants providing technical expertise for global IS projects including Enterprise Software Deployment, Enterprise Systems Management, IS Change Control and business projects including Laboratory Management System, Electronic Timekeeping, Chemical and Reagent Inventory System.
Prior to Amgen, Glenn worked at Compaq/Digital Equipment Corporation where he was responsible for Field Services organization of 120 staff, providing computer support to users at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory including Level 3 Helpdesk, desk-side support, system installation, server administration and field break/fix.
While at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory Glenn was responsible for Cassini Network Engineering, which provided network and computing services to over 1000 users at JPL. Services included user desktop and networking support, network engineering, server management and disaster recovery. He also developed and implemented the Cassini Network at the Kennedy Space Center that supported the successful launch of the Cassini spacecraft.
When not engaged in developing and delivering IT strategies and products for Convergent Informatics Clients, Glenn is involved in a number of organizations that seek to expand the presence of Life Science companies in the Greater Los Angeles area.
